Mondo 10

On the 25th of November, 6PM

In Tartu, Estonian National Museum

NGO Mondo and the Estonian National Museum have the pleasure of inviting you to the 10th anniversary of Mondo! The fundraising evening will be based on the theme of education (entitled “Education, We Care”), and will take place in the Estonian National Museum on Saturday, 25th of November at 6pm.

Today more than 300 children in Ghana, Kenya and Burma are going to school with the support of Estonian donations. With your contribution to the fundraising event, we can increase this number significantly. You will enjoy an artful and colourful evening and help give a growth spurt to education around the world. So come join us!

For dinner there will be a selection of authentic Syrian dishes and for dessert we have a mouthwatering chocolate cake prepared using Fairtrade chocolate. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Finnish-Tanzanian folk group Arnold Chiwalala Band, poet and guitarist Jaan Pehk and electronic music performer Popidiot. Mondo’s colleagues from Kenya, Burma and Ukraine will also be in attendance. The Estonian National Museum is the foremost repository of Estonian and Finno-Ugric cultural artifacts in a stunning modern building. You may take a look at the various collections at your leisure over the course of the evening.

In order to book your place we kindly ask for a donation of 40 euros or more, which will be divided between Mondo’s Brilliant Fund and Estonian National Museum. The Brilliant Fund supports academically promising students in Ghana, Kenya, Afghanistan and Burma. The Estonian National Museum will use the proceeds from donations to invite children from large families to the museum free of charge. Mondo’s donation account: EE491010220099409013. We kindly ask you to write the names of the participants in the details field of the payment. For those who cannot attend the party, but would still like to donate, please write in the details field Education, We Care.
