How do civilians experience the conflict in Ukraine? The rate of the Ukrainian Hryvnia is fluctuating, and people’s actual wages are in constant fall. Lidia, an old lady from Bolotene, has a monthly pension of 1000 Hryvni, which according to the rates of September 2015 is around €40, before the conflict, it was €100. Lidia got a food aid package from Mondo. Each package contains primary foodstuffs, and one person can manage with two packages per month.
