In Ghana, Kenya, Burma, and Afghanistan, Mondo cooperates with various schools that either lack basic study materials completely, or have a deficiency in literature, encyclopedias, notebooks, and writing instruments. For example, in the Shan State of Burma, it often happens that there is only one textbook per class. This textbook is in the hands of the teacher, who reads to the class.
