{"id":25694,"date":"2020-08-18T10:53:33","date_gmt":"2020-08-18T07:53:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mondo.org.ee\/?p=25694"},"modified":"2020-09-07T13:55:48","modified_gmt":"2020-09-07T10:55:48","slug":"ngo-mondo-announces-a-call-for-proposals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mondo.org.ee\/en\/ngo-mondo-announces-a-call-for-proposals\/","title":{"rendered":"NGO Mondo announces a call for proposals in Latvia and Lithuania"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 18 August 2020 NGO Mondo from Estonia announced the Call for proposals to support projects under the project <strong>&#8220;I Am European&#8221;: Migration Stories &amp; Facts for the 21st Century!<\/strong> in the framework of \u201cRaising public awareness of development issues and promoting development education in the European Union DEAR\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The aim of the project is to have a positive impact on achieving a more open, inclusive, and peaceful culture towards migrants and refugees in Europe<\/strong>. The target group of the project is youth aged 15-35.<\/p>\n<p>To gain further reach and impact we are searching for one civil society organisation in Latvia and one in Lithuania to implement some project activities.<\/p>\n<p>The sub-grantees in Latvia and Lithuania <strong>have to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reach young people in harder to reach areas (such as rural areas, small towns, etc.) and\/or carry out activities with youth with migrant background;<\/li>\n<li>contribute to the implementation of social media campaign in their home countries in cooperation with an Estonian and local (to be selected) social media agency;<\/li>\n<li>support NGO Mondo in contacting local journalists who will take part of study trips and international trainings organised as part of IAE project;<\/li>\n<li>adapt the toolkit for educational workers developed in Estonia to local contexts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and <strong>are expected<\/strong> to do one or several or the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reach educational workers working with young people, such as teachers and youth workers;<\/li>\n<li>engage young people themselves to take action for equality and diversity;<\/li>\n<li>engage young journalists in creating content on migration issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please find further information in the \u201cGuidelines for subgranting\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>One sub-grant will be released in Latvia and Lithuania each. Total budget of one grant will be 60.000 EUR. The duration of the projects is 18-21 months. Joint projects are possible but in this case one organisation must be a lead applicant.
