Education – Every Child’s Right

Non-profit organization Mondo launched a global education project “Education – Every Childs Right” in February. The general goal of the project is to raise interest in Estonia, especially among young people, towards developing countries and their problems with education. Within the project Mondo will be introducing the Global Campaign for Education (link: www.campaignforeducation.org) in Estonia and carrying out thematic public events and competitions (rap music, comics and film competitions) in co-operation with schools, open youth centres and the general public. Further goals of the project include raising awareness about wider issues concerning developing countries and the Millennium Development Goals and to provide young people with opportunities to point out current issues, discuss and solve them.
