Increasing NGO Mondo financial capacity and transparency (03-09.2013)

The objective of the project was to increase NGO Mondo financial capacity and transparency, which would contribute to the evolvement of Mondo´s image as a trustworthy and reliable actor in development cooperation and humaniarian aid. Though such values cannot be achieived within a limited scope of a single project, Mondo started to implement communication strategy on donations on a more systematic manner involving also private sector actors. Mondo submitted its financial accounts to an accredited auditor for review, and a tax attorney provided a legal opinion on the matters of taxation of private donations. Mondo released its first annual report in the format of a calendar, which aims to serve our supporters and partners as a practical tool a year round. As a result of a project, Mondo has taken concrete steps forward to maintain and increase its funds from private sources, including innovative methods of linking schools and entreprises for supporting Mondo´s development and humanitarian work.
