Mondo is an Estonian organisation aiming to reduce global inequality. Mondo operates in 12 developing and least developed countries and in Estonia. Mondo focuses on education/health, subsistence, environmental and digital competence programmes in partner countries, and global education in Estonia.

Mondo is seeking a part-time

CAPACITY BUILDING MANAGER

Job location: Ukraine, preferably Kyiv

Job description: The Capacity Building Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the capacity building initiatives for Mondo and its project partners. This will include developing and implementing training programs, providing support and guidance to staff, and managing capacity building budgets.

Tasks:

  • coordination of collaboration of all project partners
  • organisation of capacity building trainings
  • mapping the needs and gaps in organisational development of smaller project partners
  • recruitment and coordination of Ukrainian trainer consultants
  • collecting relevant feedback and planning long-term capacity building activities for all project partners

Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
  • min 3 years experience in capacity building activities;
  • min 3 years of experience in humanitarian aid or development cooperation programs;
  • demonstrated experience of successfully conducting trainings, both as a trainer and an organiser;
  • positive attitude to work and great communication skills, openness to work with multiple stakeholders;
  • Willingness to collaborate with less established organisations and support their development;
  • Contribute to donor reporting and, in particular, contribute to improved quality reporting by less experienced organisations;
  • proactivity, punctuality and quick problem solving, ability to work independently, excellent time management skills;
  • good verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • excellent Ukrainian language skills;
  • fluency in English and Russian languages would be a strong advantage
  • Willingness and capability to travel due to work
