PROJEKTID
Environmental Justice Conference 2026
Project budget: January 2026 – June 2026
Project donor: Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The international environmental justice conference “Responsibility and Resilience in a Changing Climate”, taking place for the second year, brings the unequal impacts of climate and environmental crises on different regions and communities into public awareness in Estonia.
The conference will take place on 28 May 2026 in Tallinn.
The international environmental justice conference brings together policymakers, researchers, civil society representatives and activists from Ukraine, the Global South and closer to home. The event provides a platform for the emergence of new partnerships and initiatives.
Through the conference, knowledge and experiences related to environmental impacts, climate justice and opportunities in development cooperation are shared. Through international speakers and case studies, the conference highlights environmental impacts arising from conflicts, climate change and economic inequality.
As a result of the project, awareness of the importance of environmental justice in Estonia will increase, and our capacity to address the climate crisis from a global and shared responsibility perspective will be strengthened.
You can explore the speakers, photos and recordings from the 2025 conference on Mondo’s website.
