Mondo in Estonia

In Estonia, Mondo aims to raise awareness about various global problems and their possible solutions. We want to educate the public on our work and introduce them to their capabilities for changing the world.

Our main activities in Estonia are global citizenship education, promotion of responsible consumerism and campaigning and advocacy work concerning development and humanitarian issues.

By holding workshops and lectures, we offer complementary education for both teachers and students about the issues that concern our planet. We campaign publicly for responsible consumerism and also work with companies and the retail sector to improve the transparency of the supply chain. We also distribute essential information about development to government officials and other organisations working in the field.

Our work in Estonia is mainly financed by the European Commission and the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Some activities are also supported by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research, and the Estonian Ministry of Culture.
