The EU Aid Volunteers vacancies of our Sustainable Development with Humanitarian Aid Volunteers 1 and 2 projects and the project Humanitarian Volunteers in Action are opened for the European citizens and long-term residents in EU countries. The EU Aid volunteers deployment projects are implemented in cooperation with Mondo from Estonia, ADICE from France, ADRA drom Slovakia and ASPEm from Italy. Currently we are sending volunteers to following countries: Peru, Bolivia, Palestine, Ukraine, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, Nepal, India, Thailand, Algeria, Albania, Turkey, Georgia and Morroco.

Nurse – application deadline January 20, 2020

6 months (April to September 2020) in Kongo community, Ghana.

Main tasks include monitoring the health condition of Mondo education support programme and solving more urgent health issues; daily work in the local clinics together with the local medical staff – including skills sharing and carrying out trainings for staff according to the local needs and possibilities; improving the hygiene conditions and practices in the clinics, sex ed workshops in the local schools. To apply, volunteer needs to be a trained nurse with at least two years of experience as a nurse.

 

Midwife application deadline January 20, 2020

6 months (April to September 2020) in Kongo community, Ghana.

Main tasks include daily work in the local clinics together with the local medical staff – including skills sharing and carrying out trainings for staff to improve maternal and infant healthcare according to the local needs and possibilities; improving the hygiene conditions and practices in the clinics, sex ed workshops in the local schools.

To apply, volunteer needs to be a trained midwife with at least two years of experience as a midwife.
