Humanitarian aid for Lebanon
Project period: April 2026 – August 2026

Project partners: Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA) and Red Oak
Project budget: 77 000 €
Mondo supports people in crisis in Lebanon by providing essential food, hygiene supplies, and mental health support.
Lebanon’s current humanitarian crisis comes at a time when the people have hardly recovered from the previous crisis less than two years ago. In the beginning of 2026, more than one million people have once again been forced to flee their homes and find refuge from the hostilities. Many of them are seeking shelter in temporary accommodation centers in the city of Saida and in the Bekaa Valley, which Mondo supports in cooperation with its partner organisations DPNA and Red Oak.
Through project “Mitigating the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon through the distribution of food and hygiene kits, and providing basic psychological support to internally displaced persons in Lebanon” Mondo provides food and hygiene kits, and psychological support to 500 families, around 2,500 people, who have been forced to flee from South Lebanon, Bekaa and other regions, and who have found refuge in and outside of the collective sites located in Saida city (South Lebanon) and Baaloul village (Bekaa).
