MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER
Job location: Ukraine, preferably Kyiv
Job description: The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of the projects. This will include developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans, collecting and analysing data, and providing regular reports to the project managers.
Tasks:
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans
- Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of programs and projects
- Provide regular reports to project managers, as well as Mondo Board on the progress of the project(s)
- Work closely with project teams to provide support and guidance on monitoring and evaluation activities
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for change based on evaluation findings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of monitoring and evaluation activities
- Contribute to programmatic donor reporting
- Feed the project-specific M&E data into Mondo’s M&E system
- Contribute to continuous development of Mondo’s M&E system and ensure its consistency with projects’ individual M&E systems
- Perform other M&E related tasks
- Support the design of new project proposals
Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
- 3+ years of experience in a monitoring and evaluation role;
- Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation principles and best practices;
- Excellent analytical and data management skills;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively;
- proactivity, punctuality and quick problem solving, ability to work independently, excellent time management skills;
- good verbal and written communication skills in English;
- excellent Ukrainian language skills;
- fluency in English and Russian languages would be a strong advantage
